The EUR 850 million project has been finally approved by the local general urban planning department. The complex, which will be called Intu Costa del Sol, will be located north of Torremolinos Palacio de Congresos.
The British Inventor hopes to attract about 30 million visitors each year, which will require expanding and improving access to the national roads A-7, AP-7 and N-340.
The retail space will occupy approx.142,000 m2. The remaining area will be designated for green and recreational areas, including 70 restaurants and large urban areas. The project is to be completed in 2023.
